Granny has lots of things on her farm to keep her busy.  Granny has her animals, her vegetable garden, and her fruit and nut orchards.  There was one more thing on Granny’s Acres that Granny has and that is her flower garden. 

From Granny’a house is a winding path that takes you to Granny’s secret garden.  When you reach Granny’s secret garden it is full of bird baths and fountains.  Rose bushes climb over the trellises along the sandstone sidewalks.  Granny has every color of roses you could think of.  She has red ones, yellow ones, white ones, purple ones, orange ones, blue ones,  and  pink ones.  Granny does not have just roses she has all kinds of flowers.

In the spring you can see all colors of irises, tulips, lilies, daffodils, lavender and so many other lovely flowers and plants.  In the fall Granny acres is covered with daisies, mums, marigolds and zinnias

In the middle of the garden, concrete tables and benches sat with an inviting appearence awaiting guests to sit and enjoy the flower beds surrounding them.  There is a goldfish pond and a plant pond.  The plant pond has berrying shrubs, grasses and flowers that will attract bird, butterflies, and insects.  At the edge of the garden is Granny’s greenhouse where she grows her flowers from seeds and starts. 

If you ever have a chance to visit Granny’s Acres you must go to Granny’s secret garden, sit down and have a cup of tea.  At Granny’s Acres everyone is welcome to come and enjoy her garden, but be careful because Granny might have you in the greenhouse helping her work.
