I am a Grandmother of a wonderful granddaughter and two wonderful grandsons, I have three children and my husband Victor of 42 years. I am a retired Early childhood development teacher.  I live on a farm in Kansas near the Oklahoma state line. I have two little dogs and 4 others I puppy sit when my son is away. Just about all of the pictures of the animal on this site is or has been on this farm.      

Children must be taught to love and have compassion for the natural earth and its creatures.

I have added children book reviews to help parents and grandparent to find that spiecal book for their spiecal child. I read about 10 books or more a day to the children in my care sometimes the same book over and over. I have learned the reaction the children have or does not have from these books and I hope the book reviews will help you in choosing a book your child.
